Welcome to
Beautiful Malta

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sally Port Suites and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else going to Malta. The location was very convenient for touring around Valletta and picking up tours around Malta. The apartment itself was really very comfortable and well fitted out. The bed was excellent! Liliana is a really friendly and caring hostess. Her recommendations for local eateries were spot on and very helpful. We particularly enjoyed one of Liliana's recommendations, Dimitri's, on the corner Melita St and St Ursula St. If we manage to make it back to Malta we would definitely stay at Sally Port Suites again and would recommend it for anyone else.
Tips for other travellers We had a wonderful time in Malta, although in 4 days we did not manage to see anywhere near all that the country has to offer. The food was a highlight- try the local dishes: they're great- no excuses for sticking to the familiar tourist standbys! The rabbit is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Gozo. For me, the highlights in Valletta itself were St John's Co-cathedral, the Carmelite Basilica, the Church of St Paul Shipwrecked and the Upper Barracka Gardens. But it was great to be able to go back to our own apartment and have some space to spread out and do our own breakfast etc- much better than a hotel room.

Malta, Gozo and Comino are located in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, just 96 km south of Sicily. Malta is the largest island of the archipelago, by extension and population. It is as varied as it can be: even within the cities the mixture of sacred and profane, of ancient and new can be found in the same street.
